Activities scheduled for the coming months
We are thrilled to announce that the construction of the first commercial-scale plant of Xycle has started. Located in the Port of Rotterdam, this chemical recycling facility will have strategic access to the transportation of plastic waste into the plant and distribution of pyrolysis oil from the plant to the off-take partners.
The site is currently being prepared for construction, with the steel structure and flooring set to be built soon. The heart of the plant – its 10 reactors – will be delivered in Q3 2025 and installed by the end of the year.
The plant will be operational in Q4 2026 and ready to convert 21,000 tonnes of non-mechanically recyclable plastic into high-quality renewable raw material annually. A responsible alternative raw material for the production of new plastics for the chemical industry.
