Following a 12-year process, the developers of Xycle are about to build a plant in the Netherlands that will sustainably convert 40 tonnes of non-recyclable plastic into high-quality feedstock every day. The missing piece of the puzzle in solving the plastic waste problem.

This tried and tested depolymerization technology also means that Xycle emits less CO₂ than incinerating mixed plastic waste. This will provide the chemical industry with a responsible alternative for the production of new plastics. And together we can contribute to achieving the climate targets.
