Philippe Lamberts Visits Xycle Europoort

On Thursday 28 May, we welcomed Philippe Lamberts, Principal Adviser to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, to the construction site of our chemical recycling plant in the Europoort area of Rotterdam.

During the visit, we gave a tour of the construction site and shared the progress being made to bring new chemical recycling capacity online in Europe.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to highlight the importance of collaboration between recycling companies and the petrochemical industry, and to demonstrate how innovative recycling technologies can help accelerate plastic circularity and keep valuable materials in the loop.
